The problem
Cancellations on seller portals weren't always picked up by the integrations, so cancelled orders were sometimes dispatched.
What we built
An automation collects cancelled orders from each seller portal, checks their status internally and cancels any that were missed.
Results
- About 2 hours saved per seller portal per day
- Far fewer shipments for cancelled orders
- More accurate inventory
How we'd build it today
An agent now handles the edge cases, such as partial cancellations and orders already picked, and alerts the warehouse in time.
